Time has been flying by. Football ended on October 29 and my classes started on October 27. Michael got his cast off on November 7 and went camping with the boy scouts two weeks later. Jason went with him and froze his booty off. Everything was setting down till the holiday season started and it became concert season. Michael had his first band concert on November 18. That same night Jordan was awarded his first pens for cub scouts in the webelo rank. The girls have there winter dance recital tomorrow night. Next week we get a break kind of. Sunday is the kids church Christmas concert. Tuesday night Nora and Jordan are singing with the choir at greenwood and Alisha has her first Christmas program that same night. Jason and I will be splitting the duties. Good thing we have video and digital. Well I think that is everything. Well except for caroling with the scouts on the 20 but hay if it doesn't take all day why count it. I think that is a complete recap and update. I will post pictures when I get them. Love to all.

Accidents will happen

Well football was going very well until Michael broke his arm at practice on the 29 th of September. He is doing well with it. He struggled at first but he is adapting well. Jordan Is doing great in football really finding his own way. Nora loves cheerleading and is also doing great. I start classes on Monday. I put it off a bit because I was a little over welmed by all of my volunteering. Go figure. I am really excited to get started now. I will add pictures later for Michael and his arm. He is working on his second cast. this one is orange and glow in the dark. Now I am on to Halloween. One costume down three to go. Ya It's always fun but I gets a bit adventures as they get older.

Football games have started and things are crazy as ever. I am not sure I am going to be sane when this is over. All the kids are doing very good. the boys are Playing great. Jordan finally stopped falling over when someone looked at him and Michael is just loving it. Nora is really picking up quick in cheerleading. I didn't get pictures of Nora I was a little preoccupied. I am posting pictures of the boys game. My little boy turns 12 today. I still wonder were time went.

The first week of school is almost over and we made it this far. Football and cheerleading are also off the a good start. I will be posting pictures next week of all of the kids in their verious activities. Alisha loves her new preschool. The rest of the kids and doing great. Michael thinks sixth grade is all that and more and nora and Jordan are doing really well with their teachers. I am looking forward to getting to a normal schedule next week with all the preschools and what not. My big news is that I am finally Going to go to college. I will write more about that later. Got to run.

things change like the wind around here. Nora was practicing with the boys last night and decided she didn't want to do football. Well at least she tried. I am going to have her help me with cheer leading. She is the only girl this year that even tried on her gear. I will give her credit for that. School starts next week for the kids. We got Alisha into the grande ronde academy. It is a private christian school. It also has an excellent Pre-school. Michael is going to the middle school for sixth grade and the twins are in fourth grade. They have them split up again but that is fine with me. I am a bit nervous about Michael going to the junior High but I have to let go sometime. So we are all in school and ready to get back to our schedule. I will post pictures next week ofhte kids on their first day of school.. Hi ho hi ho its off to work we go.

some vacation news

I know we took vacation in July but I thought I would write about it anyway. We spent the week in waldport that is about 12 miles out side of Newport. It was great we rented a house. It was very cute and cozy and inexpensive. we had a great time and are planning on going back again. I already put some pictures of the zoo on the page so I thought I would add a few pictures of the house.

Football season has started and we are well on our way to bruises and injuries and fun. I got the biggest surprise when Nora (yes my little Nora) insisted that she play football. To every ones surprise I said yes. I figure I cannot raise a daughter to be independent and strong if I don't encourage her to do the things she wants. Even Alisha got into the act and tried on Michael's gear. My football family. Got to love'm. Oh ya I am starting optimist cheerleading this year. I couldn't be left out to badly.

I have one great nephew and two great nieces they are beautiful and a great addition to my family.

summer vacation 2008 zoo

We went to the Portland Zoo to start out our vacation this summer. The kids loved it. We had a great time. The dinsaur exhibit was great. It takes 4 and a half hours to walk through the zoo. It is worth it all the way.
